  • Description: Blaine Veterans Center is an enhanced 24-hour shelter program for single Veteran male-identifying individuals in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. We are a harm reduction facility and are committed to the Housing First model. Shelter provides 3 meals a day, laundry services, showers/hygiene, bus tickets for appointments, personal storage, a kitchenette, a computer, and a tv.

It is the first — and only — homeless shelter in the country that only serves people with HIV. Provides cots, sleeping mats, blankets pillows, personal item storage, food, nursing, and more.

  • Description: Our Day Center hosts women – with or without children – to meet their immediate needs. The Day Center is on the front lines of homelessness in Kent, and the first point of interaction for guests walking in off the streets. We welcome women into a warm, safe, loving environment, and support guests by building relationships and providing services including: direct intake into shelter services, clothing, shoes, and hygiene items, meals and snacks, resource assistance, mail service, bus tickets, phone and computer access, housing application and job readiness assistance, and access to medical and mental health providers.

Bread of Life Mission

Counseling from our staff is also available to discuss options regarding our recovery programs or other service providers in the area. Services they provide include showers, tv, computer use, metro bus passes, mail service, lockers, 3 meals a day, clothing distribution, and social services.

  • Description: The Dorothy Day House is a residence for homeless women, managed by Catholic Housing Services. The Seattle residence provides 41 single units for low-income adult women, many of whom are disabled. Each unit is furnished with a bed, table, microwave, sink, and toilet. Community baths and kitchens are located on each floor. Rents are based on income.
